The year was 1983, a movie would come along that would start a small revolution among teenagers with a healthy interest for videogames. A young man would use his hacking and videogaming skills to stop the outbreak of World War 3. Write Comment (0 comments) |

Love to hate or hate to love, either way there's quite a few movies that we wouldn't like to be found watching. They even manage to find their way into the vhs-collection in the basement, sometimes even as far as showing up amongst the dvds. Yeap yeap yeap, just admit it, you've got at least one or two movies liyng around that you watch behind closed curtains. You can't tell anybody about it because it would ruin your otherwise good moviefanatic reputation, i can't even imagine what would happen if somebody caught be watching Best of the best. To my deffence i throw in the towel as soon as Eric Roberts throws out the line "It's been a long time!" Write Comment (0 comments) |

Some movies and series from ones childhood or teen years tend to bring back all the great memories from that time. There's a tv station that still shows reruns of "Miami Vice" and i'm pretty sure that i'm not the only one watching the show late at night. Now "Miami Vice" was revolutionary in so many ways, the acting, the music, the plots, everything hit bullzeye. This was a top primetime show, but there were also other shows that didn't get the same attention or were forgotten as the 80's drew to a close. Write Comment (0 comments) |

History has proven that certain movies get a bum rap as a result of peoples ignorance and their lack of knowledge of the movie business. I'm a firm beliver of the fact that the cast alone has little, or none, relevance to the underlying quality of the movie. A movie with a low entertainment value can still be a good movie if you're willing to look at all aspects of the production, the plot, the characters, and even the filming of the movie itself. The death of movies is however mostly driven by moviegoers overly dramatized focus on the leading cast. Write Comment (3 comments) |

I can actually pick out movies from each decade that mark out the whole period for me, by even mentioning the names i get kicked back into that year and great feelings arise. Since i've only been living from the end of the 70's, i usually get thrown into the 80's. There are several reasons why i love 80's movies, the most importan is however the sheer effort the filmakers went through to create something intriguing for the eye. I'm talking about real landskapes, real nature, they didn't just put actors infront of a bluescreen, everything was real right down to the last stone on the hill.
